In reply to: Can't access site admin after upgradeUpgraded from 4.6.1 to 4.7 and got the same problem. Solved it by removing W3 Total Cache manually via FTP (including the cache and advanced-cache.php, index.php, object-cache.php, w3-total-cache-config.php and w3tc-config in /wp-content). Other posts mentioned editing .htaccess and wp-config.php but my setup didn’t have any additions by W3TC.

In reply to: [Better WordPress Recent Comments] Recent Comments not refreshing!Yes it’s on by default. I’ll empty the cache for now and wait for v2 to come out.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Fatal error: Call to undefined function w3tc_button_link()Deleting those two as per Thomas’ instructions worked for me
I suspect it maybe because I had Super Cache installed (default QuickInstall Hostgator setup), although it was not activated?Hmm, everything is working fine again, upon another attempt at installing the plugin. Sorry, can’t reproduce it… but check Cache, check the .htaccess that you are not banning yourself, and FTP to delete the files and go into WP plugins where it will say “plugin is deactivated” because the files were deleted, and click around until that message goes away, then clean install.
I had the same problem. Updated WordPress to 3.5.2, get the “error”.
Manually updated Better WP Security to 3.5.3 through FTP, problem persists. I deleted it manually and restored the .htaccess, and I’m up again.
Then I tried a clean install of Better WP Security, get the errors. Tried clearing cache, no help. I have my admin page rewritten with the default setting.I’d like to use the plugin but now I fear all of my sites will be this fragile.
Automagic would be great! Thanks, Mike!
