This issue is likely due to a plugin conflict. Please could you perform a conflict test by first disabling all plugins and then re-activating them one by one to determine the conflict. You may also wish to switch to a default theme to see if that is causing an issue as part of the test.

Are you using the same backup folder for multiple installations? Backups from all of the sites will show in the Existing backups section.

Thank you for your message. I would just like to clarify that when you refer to “the checkbox that allows the backup to be deleted locally” that you mean the one found on UpdraftPlus > Settings > Show expert settings > Delete local backup.

Secondly, please could you let me know what your backup schedule is under Updraftplus > Settings > Files backup schedule and Database backup schedule.

Lastly, please could you share a recent backup log using pastebin.com? You can find the logs in the wp-content / updraft folder or by the pressing the View Log button next to a recent backup on the Backup / Restore tab.

A misconfigured page which results in a white screen could be being cached by the plugin. I would suggest looking at your PHP error logs in the first instance to identify any potential issues.

Please could you download and extract the database archive on to your desktop, open it in a text editor and look for:

CREATE TABLE wp_users
and
INSERT INTO wp_users

(enclose the table names with backticks)

If your prefix is different then substitute wp for the correct one.

Thank you for your patience. Please could you try again and this time remove https:// from the endpoint leaving only s3.cubbit.eu. Along with this please choose the Virtual-host style bucket access and SigV4 signature version.

I have verified that these settings work for Cubbit DS3 with my own account (connecting through UpdraftPlus).

We are currently working on a tweak to remove the https:// part of the end-point value automatically to make it less confusing for users.

Thank you for your question. The ability to save backups to different folders on Google Drive is not available with this version and would require the premium multiple storage destinations add-on or UpdraftPlus premium.

I assume by automatic backup you are referring to a scheduled backup (automatic backup is a term we use to describe backups prior to an update) – On the Settings tab select Weekly from the drop down box for both Files backup schedule and Database backup schedule and click Save Changes.

On the Backup / Restore tab, if you view the Next scheduled backups section at the top it will tell you the datetime for the next backup run for both the Files and Database archives.

If you go to the Settings tab you can set the Files backup schedule and Database backup schedule to retain a particular number of scheduled backups. When the number of backups you store on your S3 bucket reaches this limit and a new backup is taken, the oldest one will be removed.
