Hello,
Please could you try using the following:
endpoint: sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com
location: updraft-andy168 or include a path to the bucket hereHello,
I would suggest using two separate browser profiles for the sites in question so that you are always logged into the correct Google account when working with a particular site, to lessen confusion.
Use UpdraftPlus >> Settings >> Advanced Tools >> Wipe Settings and re-authenticate your Google Drive accounts with their respective sites. Please note, when using this method you will need to re-add your backup schedule settings.
This step will make sure that the correct site is configured to back up to the correct Google Drive account.Hello,
Thank you for the update. Assuming you create a bucket “updraft-andy168” directly on Digital Ocean Spaces and add the name of it to the location field in the S3 compatible settings – what happens when you test the connection and attempt a backup?
Hello,
Please could you try using the following pattern for the endpoint => region.digitaloceanspaces.com. After testing the settings, create another backup and try downloading it.
Hello,
May I ask what naming pattern you are using for your endpoint please? Is it spacename.region.digitaloceanspaces.com or region.digitaloceanspaces.com/spacename ?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Not backing up for the last monthHello,
Apologies for the confusion, it does sound like the rescan remote storage link has been used, resulting in extra backups displaying in the Existing backups section.
I would recommend removing any backups that you do not need from UpdraftPlus >> Existing backups and your remote storage. After this reset everything using UpdraftPlus >> Advanced Tools >> Wipe settings. Next, re-connect any remote storage locations and add your schedule again to the Settings tab.
Finally, check the datetime on the Backup / Restore tab as seen here. After the backup runs please could you share your backup log file using pastebin.com?
Hello,
Thank you for the update, you can add the line below your database define statements in wp-config.php.
That said, If you are unable to set a max_execution time above 60 seconds and the host themselves recommend not to use backup plugins due to resource limitations on their free service, this is unlikely to work.
I am sorry I could not be of more help.Hello,
Thank you for the log file, you just need to check and save UpdraftPlus >> Settings >> Show expert settings >> Delete local backup. Once checked your local backups should be deleted in line with your schedule.
Hello,
Thank you for the update. According to the log file the backup was successful but the setting to delete local backups is checked and therefore the webserver backups are being deleted. For example:
0099.329 (0) Deleting local file: backup_2024-06-28-1714_foto_WALTHER_2f37f9cb68ce-themes.zip: OK
If you uncheck this option and save changes and then attempt another backup, you should see a line such as this in the log
Deleting local file: backup_2024-06-29-1343_Test_57c32c8e4707-plugins.zip: skipped: user has unchecked updraft_delete_local option
which means that the backup file is not deleted and is retained in the wp-content / updraft folder.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing the log file. In this instance I would suggest manually removing the backups directly from Dropbox that you do not wish to retain. Do the same for the UpdraftPlus >> Backup / Restore >> Existing backups section.
Next, go to UpdraftPlus >> Advanced Tools >>Wipe settings and click the button. You will need to re-connect your Dropbox account. I would then recommend re-saving your backup schedule on the Settings tab also.
Please could you then monitor the backups for the next few days and provide a new log file when the backups are due to be pruned in line with your schedule? Apologies for the inconvenience.
Hello,
Please could you share the restoration log file from the wp-content / updraft folder using pastebin.com? The log file will have a filename similar to this: log.b6d1dc7fbd03 and the file contents will feature the word “restore”.
Hello,
Thank you for making this information accessible. It seems your WordPress instance has a number of overdue tasks. Please edit your wp-config.php file and add the following line below the database definitions:
define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);
Please could you also increase the max_execution_time directive from 60 to 600 seconds. Your web hosting company should be able to do this for you.
Please could you then attempt to make another backup?
Hello,
You’re welcome, thank you for letting us know. Just to be clear, to use different folders with Google Drive requires a premium add-on.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] FYI – Conflict with PDF InvoiceHello,
Thank you for reporting this, would it be possible for you to re-post this in the WP-Optimize support forum please?
Hello,
Please could you update UpdraftPlus to the latest version? For pastebin.com after pasting in the log file click the Create New Paste button as seen here. After this, copy the URL from the browser address bar to share here.
