Hello,
It seems there might be an issue with a missing file in your UpdraftPlus installation. To resolve this, please deactivate and uninstall the plugin, then download and reinstall the latest version.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Log files missingHello,
I am sorry to hear about this. There is not a specific setting that turns the visibility of the log files on and off.
If the backups are available in the Backup / Restore >> Existing backups section but the log files are not, it usually means one of the following:- The log files have been deleted from the wp-content / updraft folder
- The backups have been deleted and later rescanned from storage or uploaded directly
In either of these cases unfortunately I do not think it would be possible to get them back.
Hello,
Thank you for letting me know.
Hello,
I was just checking the GoDaddy documentation and there are some guidelines here and although it says it supports passive, it may be worth testing with active also in case something has changed. Please do keep us updated with your test.
Hello,
I would suggest contacting the Photocrati support team here – they should be able to help you troubleshoot this issue. If you have any UpdraftPlus specific issues I would be happy to assist you further.
Hello,
I am sorry to hear about these problems. Would it be possible for you to provide the full restoration log file from the wp-content / updraft folder please?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Change/Update/Delete Google DriveHello,
Apologies for the confusion we are in the process of updating these pages. The sentence is referring to removing the existing Google Drive settings if they are already set up.
If you wish to reset the plugin I would recommend using the UpdraftPlus >> Advanced Tools >> Wipe Settings button. It won’t remove any of your backups – just re-enter your backup schedule and remote storage location connections on the Settings tab.
Hello,
Do you have Passive mode ticked in the FTP settings?
Hello,
Could you share the backup log file via pastebin.com please? You can find the log file by clicking the View Log button on the Backup / Restore tab next to the backup.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] FTP login errorHello,
It could be be that the FTP server has been updated to enforce SSL / TLS for all connections.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply, I understand your point about the location not being the issue. To help isolate this, could you try temporarily disabling the FTP connection on the UpdraftPlus >> Settings tab? This would help us see if the issue is related to the FTP upload process.
Next could you run a manual backup by clicking the Backup Now button on the Backup / Restore tab. Please could you then share the log file via pastebin.com or similar?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] FTP login errorHello,
The error message indicates that the FTP server you are connecting to requires encryption. The free version of UpdraftPlus only supports non-encrypted FTP.
Hello,
If I understand correctly, you are trying to save backups to the wp-content / updraft folder.
You can disconnect the FTP storage location from UpdraftPlus since you have the Delete local backups setting unchecked in UpdraftPlus >> Settings >> Show expert settings.
This setting means that by default the backups will already be saved to that location.Hello,
Thank you for the log file, may I ask if the folder that you are using to save your backups via FTP is different to that of your wp-content / updraft folder on your website?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Schedule frequency incorrectHello,
Please follow these steps:
- Go to UpdraftPlus >> Advanced Tools >> Wipe settings and click the Wipe settings button.
- Go to the Settings tab, re-add your backup schedule, and click Save Changes.
- Re-add any connections to remote storage locations.
- Go to Backup / Restore >> Next scheduled backups and verify that the date and time values for File and Database backups are correct as seen in this example.
It’s likely that your cron tasks are running with the wrong schedule, and these steps should reset everything.
