In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] Modify path for CNAMESince the CDN URL is using a session variable, I had to make it update in the save settings function, I wasn’t doing that. Please update and let me know if this has resolved the issue.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] SynchronizeI understand. I will be implementing this in a future release and will update this thread when it is done.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] Will this plugin update the links?I understand. That will not happen with our plugin. All local URLs are rewritten on the fly once they are synchronized to the CDN.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] SynchronizeYou could also FTP into your site and backup your “uploads” folder before you do the upload if you’re afraid the plugin might delete files. I can tell you, though, that we have two sites with over 1,500 attachments on them (over 3,500 files per site with attachments and thumbnails) that this worked great on. We just used it on another site with over 350 files and it worked great as well.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] SynchronizeI will add this as an option. The reason it’s not there right now is because I figured people would want to save money by storing and serving from the CDN and not have to pay for both local and CDN storage.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] Will this plugin update the links?Yes. All content will be served locally until the file has been synchronized to the CDN and removed. You will see no downtime.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] SynchronizeI will add this option in the next update.

In reply to: [Rackspace CDN] Will this plugin update the links?Yes, all content is rewritten on the fly with the CDN path. Once you edit the post and save it, and when you create new posts, the CDN path will be saved and doesn’t have to be rewritten anymore.
