Are you using the latest version of FAQ? We had this issue in our earlier versions. But we fixed it later. Are you sure, you are using the latest version?
If you are using the latest version and the issue still pertains, can you please create a support ticket here providing us your website details and temporary admin access to your site so that I would check this down.

Regarding the tag option, that seems to be a great idea.
As of now, you could separate each FAQ’s by category.
Do you mind if we ask how you are using Helpie FAQ on your site and how exactly this tag feature would help you in achieving it instead of using our category option?
We want to understand our customers’ requests as well as possible, so we can focus on the right?things.

Did you check it in the spam folder? If not, can you please try it once more and check it in the spam folder?

Do you have the Yoast SEO plugin or any other SEO plugin? If so, can you please try deactivating the plugin once and then try activating Helpie FAQ?
You can activate the SEO plugin once you have activated the Helpie FAQ.

Your theme does this, not because of Helpie.

Do you want the FAQ tags linked to an archive page like that we have given for category?
Or you just want the tags to be seen in the FAQ toggle?
