It turns out that it was the “Textile 1” (https://www.huddledmasses.org/) plugin in WordPress that was doing that.

I just disabled that plugin and everything is ok

Yes the problem is with the <pre> tags. I've opened up the source file through Firefox and changed the <pre> tags to and it works fine.

How do I make it so that it always opens it with instead of <pre> ???

I only have that problem with my current theme. If I change it to WordPress Classic it works fine.

https://www.paulyblogger.com is a domain forward. So when you go to that site it leaves it in the address bar and forwards you to https://z.h1x.com/pauly

I did not edit anything in archive.php
