In reply to: [PLUGIN: TDO Mini Forms] Form submit – issues with 30 fieldsOK
ANYONE – please tell me if this observation is correct or not….
If you start a new form, you can add as many extra fields as you like BUT once you create the page, you cannot add any more fields.
You can edit the Form Hacker to add the fields and they show up on your form, but only those originally added fields are shown on the final submitted post or page.
I am finding that if Ive left something out of the original set-up, I cannot add it and have to start all over again with a new form. As I have 35 fields it takes at least 90 mins to re do it all (hoping I havent missed something and have to start from scratch again).
What am I (or the plugin) doing wrong here?
Thanks

In reply to: [Plugin: Register Plus] User Defined Fields – cannot alter Required optionHi skullbit (aka Ben)
I have a fix ready and am just putting the final touches on it for release later today,
Where will I find this please? – and are there easy instructions on how to install.
AND, is there an option to view all members with a certain user field – ie everyone with red hair, or everyone aged 25, etc
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Plugin: Register Plus] User Defined Fields – cannot alter Required optionHaHa – sorry – Ben is from another forum. I didnt want to keep adding further posts by explaining.
However, as 2 of us now know you as Ben, I think it only fair that you adopt the name to save future confusion. LOL

In reply to: [Plugin: Registered Users Only] Works great in 2.6!Hi
Have you added any extra custome fields into the register function?
If so, once someone enters this data and joins, where does that extra info appear within the Users area.
Ive done it with mine, but cannot see the extra data collected anywhere – which makes it a bit pointless.

In reply to: [Plugin: Register Plus] User Defined Fields – cannot alter Required optionHi Ben
I went into database to see how all these extra user-defined fields were stored and couldnt make out what was going on.
When a person registers as a new user, does ALL of the info from the sign-up process get stored in the same table, or is it split across _user and _user-meta ??
Also, how do I view the FULL data for users – none of these extra fields are displayed under the “Users” – “Authors & Users” or “Your Profile” screens nor under “Register-Plus”.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: New Install – no password, no login etcHi Samboll
I cannot access the wp_user at phpmyadmin as there arent any actual users there.
However, I did manage to export the field names, import a blank set and edit them to suit (with md5 hasher for password).
Now when I attempt to login, I get the message………
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”.
So, Im guessing the database form fields “user_activation_key” and “user_status” need to have an entry in them?
As I said before, none of this was set-up at install so i am editing within the database iteself.
What should be in those two fields please?
Thanks
