Hi,

After using Forge – Front-End Page Builder, I tried SiteOrigin Page Builder.

It has many more features than the ones provided with your free version.

I agree – in fact, I’ve removed it from my plugins!

Thank you for your succinct solution―I had used a theme with the Meta menu activated automatically, then I changed themes.

In fact, I could no longer see the widget in the sidebar, but the Meta menu persisted in the sidebars.

When I put a Text widget in the sidebar, the Meta menu disappeared.

I’m running WordPress 4.3.1 using Sixteen Plus theme.

Jardin Jeanne d’Arc and Flowers tabs are both from my Flickr albums.

I have been getting this error for the past 2 years!
2015-10-14: Error retrieving the json file from server for the detected WordPress version: 4.3.1. Scan aborted.

2015-01-21: Error retrieving the json file from server for the detected WordPress version: 4.1. Scan aborted.

And so on!
