Hit the send button too soon. Is there a help page that discusses the template changes for the WordFence reCaptcha or an example I could reverse engineer the code so it would work on my site
@wfmark – that is where it gets confusing. The theme we are using does not modify the login page or the registration page. It does modify a product page and the shopping page.
Why wouldn’t it work with the standard pages?
Thanks, Amrit. Spoke to our hosting provider and turns out, that wasn’t it but they did find a conflicting entry in the cache settings in wp-config.php file.
Fixed this and all it well.
Thanks
Kim
I apologize, I am not 100% familiar with your app and don’t know exactly what restriction settings you are looking for.We are trying to block access to three website pages and one PDF that is accessed via a hyperlink in a menu.
For the pages, on the content control screen, we selected ‘Logged in Users’ and selected everyone (check mark) except ‘subscriber’. The protection is set to move them to the homepage. The content is set to A Selected Page and the page we want to block is in the next field.
For the Media, it is set similarly except on the content it is set to ‘A selected Media’ and the media/PDF is in the next block.
On our Widgets pages, which do work properly, Who can see is set to “Logged In Users” and then all but subscribers are checked. This prevents this widget from displaying to anyone who is not logged in and anyone who is solely a ‘subscriber’ This one works fine.
Are there other settings you are looking for?

The revision works great. Better than expected – it shows just the PDFs, which is really appropriate to the plugin. No need to see other file or media types. Thanks for the update

Searching the webs for a solution, I ran across this Github project. Maybe some ideas in the code that would help the pdf file display issue?https://github.com/CaerCam/media-link-for-elementor
I’ve learned the work-around of keeping the WordPress Media window open to copy the URL of the PDF, the paste into your URL field, but it would be much easier if your file display would include all files.
Hope this helps

This plugin is great, makes my site much better, however, I am having issues trying to select files using the pop-up that displays the Elementor Media. The files exist in the folder, I can see them when I use the WordPress Media button, but the files do not display when using the Elementor Pop-up. It appears the widget is using Elementor MEDIA but only returning images, not files.
Is there a way to maybe use the WordPress media control instead? Any way of seeing the PDF’s that already exist in the folder.
If this isn’t easily accomplished, is there a way drag/drop from the WordPress Media folder or other way to select the PDF. I tried using the URL presented in the folder as an external source but that didn’t work
Any ideas on how to correct or a work-around?
Thanks
Paul
