In reply to: [Jigoshop eCommerce] Developers’ NightmareHi @adhanurdhari,
Thanks for pointing it out (a bit of a pity that you have done it as a review, but that’s ok). We have loads of documentation which is ready and some is still in progress, but the most important bit is that we are in a process of syncing the documentation of Jigoahop eCommerce with the live site.
In a week it should be ready. I will update you when it’s done.

In reply to: [Jigoshop eCommerce] Recent upgrade broke siteHi Mouli,
We tend to test new development versions on number of platforms and at least 3 times before we publish a new version of a plugin. I have just checked and the file is in the plugin itself, I have also checked for changes and it wasn’t uploaded or changed during the release of Jigoshop eCommerce 2.0.8.
I have had a chance to talk to our Senior developer and he believes that it’s an issue with plugin management system on WordPress.
As per suggestion from Martin, please re-upload the plugin and it should work fine.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Migration – PHP 5.6 essential?I am afraid it is essential…
When rewriting the Jigoshop Core into the Jigoshop eCommerce we have taken under consideration following aspects:
– there is no other plugin that can generate pages under 80ms on a website with 10k products, 10k users and 100k orders;
– compatibility with PHP 5.6 was essential, but hence 5.3/5.4 are no longer supported we have made a decision to move towards performance and modern coding standards as opposed to losing on those aspects for compatibility reasons;CentOS 6 is also obsolete – please note that I hold current RHCE certification for RHEL 7. I would recommend upgrading to RHEL 7 ( or CentOS 7)… and read about software collections.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Migration – PHP 5.6 essential?Hi devnz,
PHP 5.3 is now out of date and not supported from 2015.
Jigoshop eCommerce is build on the latest technologies and utilising the most efficient functions. It will not work on php 5.3.
We would recommend upgrading PHP to 7.0 or 7.1 as it’s up to 3 times faster. Jigoshop eCommerce was written for PHP 7.0 and it’s currently the fastest and the most modern eCommerce plugin for WordPress.
We can recommend some hosting companies that provide the latest versions of PHP.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Great productHi sojoliver,
If you think that Jigoshop 1.x is great, try Jigoshop eCommerce – it’s a completely new core and code for plugins which is more than just a code rewrite, we have taken the software to a new level.

BTW: Jigoshop 1.x will only be supported until the end of the year.

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Sagepay gateway SHA-256 (SHA-2) certificatesHi Dermod,
In accordance to PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) SSL certificates with SHA1 are no longer considered secure.
I have just checked your website and it only uses http which doesn’t require any SSL certificates.
In which case, you are not affected by that requirement from the Client –> Server perspective.
I have just had a quick look at the integration document from sage and I can’t find any requirement for your site to run https:

In reply to: [Jigoshop] Change role of existing users to Customer at checkout?Hi Josh,
I don’t believe there is a feature that would allow us to change user role at the checkout, but given the circumstances it sounds like something that we should consider as it might be useful for many Jigoshop users.
Please find a link below to the new “Requested Features” page on our website. Please note that the page is at the very early stage of development.
https://www.jigoshop.com/request-a-feature/Hence it was moved to “Request a feature” page – I’m closing this request on support forum. Please track it on Request a feature page
Hi Richard,
