I’ve had the same problem since updating to 4.4 and it looks like it’s appearing for a bunch of other sites (according to a quick Google of the error).

Looks like something is either missing or needs to be deleted, but I’m not confident enough to do it myself ??

I love that there’s the option of making the featured image into a thumbnail. But featured images are usually not square and thumbnails usually are. So when the whole image is used it (obviously) gets distorted along the way.

So in a perfect world (and I don’t think this is even possible!) instead of using the whole of the featured image it would only use a small part of it. So it automatically generates a thumbnail size image using a part of the feature. I’m not sure I can explain it very well ??
