Outstanding · plugin and support

Having used the SEO plugin that begins with Y for years on 25+ sites I was increasingly unconvinced it was working as I wanted it to.
Y was fiddly when it came to structured data, it seemed that every update was rapidly followed by another one to fix the bugs in the previous one and it was getting increasingly hard to get sites it was on to load in <3 secs.
I needed to find an alternative.
The SEO plugin had to import from Y and AIO – accurately; provide auto-updating; not add a large overhead in terms of loading; offer a full range of tools; work on all the websites I manage.
I looked at a handful of alternatives, tried a few, ended up switching 6 sites to Rank Math and tested.
Testing:

• Homepages put through WebPageTest before and after comparing times to ‘visually complete’ – improvements ranged from 0.1 secs to 1.3 secs
• Sites put through Screaming Frog before and after checking all titles, redirects, etc all carried over – 100% success.

I’m not a big fan of Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica is far better – one useful metric YM gives is an accurate bounce rate (think of it as people still on the site after 15 secs) for visits without an event (this really is GA’s Achilles Heel).
All sites transferred to Rank Math have improved bounce rates.
Am now moving all sites over to Rank Math.
