Thanks Robin for your answer. I understand how to add capabilities to one specific role. But in the case above:
$role->add_cap( 'hello_mother', true );

How can I specify that e.g. hello_mother is the capability to have the Private Group settings in the dashboard?

I want to purchase the extension “UM Groups” but I can not see in your Extension Description ( https://ultimatemember.com/extensions/groups/ ) any details about, which files can be uploaded into the group discussion…and this is important for the site I am building.

So, I can not buy the extension before, without knowing if this feature will work. I need to know it, before buying the product.

Resolved. I just updated the Plugin “Gutenberg Blocks and Template Library by Neve theme” and the featured section is now visible.
