The weird thing is that it was working before, and then suddenly it wouldn’t let me edit it.

As I said, this is on the Godaddy Managed WP platform.

Simple fix for “Failed to connect to FTP Server localhost:21” on Macintosh localhost.

After much hair pulling and looking up dead-ends, here is what I did.

In the terminal:

sudo chown -R _www [folder/directory of my WP site]
