tommytomato – thanks! the theme is a mish mash of Nature’s Highlight 1.0 by refueled (refueled.net) and Neoclassical theme by Chris pearson ( https://pearsonified.com/theme/neoclassical/ ) So i don’t really think I could call it my own and release it.

All I did was move the nature’s highlight sidebar to the right, use the font styling of neoclassical, and i think that’s really about it, just removed all background coloring to keep with a clean white theme.

in your header CSS you have should have something like

h1 {background-image: url(myimage.gif);}

then whatever text you put between h1 brackets will appear over that background.

then there are more advanced things to do like making sure the background repeats or doesn’t repeat, is size appropriately to match image, etc.

or do you know all this already? lol

Also, how do I get that square date graphic to go next to my entry titles that a lot of people are using? I’m thinking about using that.

On my IE 6.0.2900.2180 XP SP2 here at work, your Aviation Video sidebar is underneath the content and all out of whack as far as alignment goes.

Other than that, not bad.

Are you trying to go for a complete nostalgic, 70’s type feel/theme for your site? I think it could use some more graphics or design to help give it that flavor. Maybe some kind of retro background. I dunno.

I don’t see an About page, i’m a stickler for those, i want to know what the heck i’m looking at and why. But that’s me.

also you said “get your featured picture above the fold”. what do you mean by this?
