yes but even in that file path : wp-content/uploads/2018/02 for all the files uploaded in February of 2018 , I dont see anything. the files show as successfully uploaded by filezilla.

Thanks for the help stephenconttontail. Ive gone back to my template maker by phone and email and made a pic with my explanation and your advice.

Unfortunately they refuse to help for less than $75 per 30 minutes, and it would probably be more they said. Im trying to include that pic as an attachment. But don’t see that ability here in the thread.

In any case Shasta.com charged me $800 for a simple template as you can see on greenbotdynamics.com I did all of the graphics, the layout, and gave it to them on a USB disk, way more than a typical customer would have to start with. And they are still trying to screw me.

But wanting to stay positive Im looking at a conventional solution, as the coding should have been done the first time. So correct me if Im wrong stephenconttontail but is your code more of a “brute force” method ?

And when this all has been fixed I want to remove their name from the bottom footer of my page ( Websites by: shasta.com is at the bottom left). They shouldnt use their customers products for advertising anyway.

I will contact the original maker, but was happen to have this done before they opened on monday and responded probly Tuesday. But that Isnt going to happen i presume by now.

In any case this was as far as the background is visible (in the red dashed box), it should be underneath all the other content and totally across the page.

ive used the native tools in wordpress but in the “appearance” tab they dont work.

As for where this appears also elsewhere, did you paste text there also?

No, for example the text in the links page was fine, and ive gotten rid of the ‘A” things and they keep coming back.

It’s being output in the HTML and some odd rich text formatted text may in fact be hidden in the editor but show on a page.
