As mentioned by the Theme Author, I downloaded plugin ‘Simple Custom CSS’ and inserted the custom css code below :

.post-thumbnail {
max-width: 200px;
}

and now, the max width remains 200px.

It was indeed version 1.4.4. I’m gone try option 2 later today. I’m pretty sure this will work out fine. And indeed I’m using the “aside” post format for these kind of post.

ps : I have exactly the same site in production. The latter is behaving exactly the same, from a technical point of view (same pluggings, version, …).

In production, for the time being, I reduce the pictures outside the media library and only upload the reduced picture.
