Future release? Lol, so this could be 3.2.1 or 10.2. That’s really frustrating.

This is supposed to be a feature, as far as I know. The buttons on top of the input field are just to sort your post in the right category (or something similar to a category… who know’s).

Yeah it’s strange and I’d like to see a change too.

So, ok, 3.2 is out, but still no button to insert an image from URL ??

Ok, I wanna come back to my original concern.

I have now tried all the 3.2 RCs and with none of them the problem gets fixed. Did the bug fix made it to 3.2 or will it still be present in 3.2? Or do I just have to wait for the final?

I think I remember this. But I’m not really sure. On the other hand the users of my p2 blog also thought the comment number appeared in an earlier p2 version.

This works indeed. But, at least for me, the image insertion from url is not working. again, no insert into post button.

Ok, I stumbled across Textile, which is really cool I think. Could this be kind of a workaround?

I thought that the user can input text with textile formatting and by hitting the “Post it” Button, everything gets translated to html.
Perhaps the javascript file of cleverdevil could be a good start?

Or what about a jQuery plugin?

Sadly, I’m quite a poor programmer when it comes to js, php and html. If I were better I would try this by myself.
