Thanks Nikeo for looking into it. I was just wondering how the WordPress was detecting that my site was ‘running on an insecure version of PHP’.

Since I have not inserted any php code, only php code that is there can only be from the theme itself – am I right?

    Hi Nicolas,
Thanks for your suggestions. The problem was created due to WP’s new editor (Gutenberg) – one of the most illogical things arbitrarily imposed upon the users.
This unbelievably smart(!) editor keeps on “correcting” the html just as one hits the ‘update’!
It were those ‘corrections’ that were making the HTML unparsable. Switching to the Classic Editor and reposting the content solved the problem.

Thanks again for looking into it.

Hi Emranemranx & everyone else who may have similar issue,

The fix is easy. To expand the image to the full width of the page, just set the image width (CSS) to any a desired percentage – in my case, I set it to: “width: 104%”.

    Thank you

    Hello Rocco,
Thank you for looking into it. Deactivating and Reactivating the ‘JetPack’ plugin solved the issue.
For those who may be facing the similar issue, please follow the same technique.
I am marking it as ‘resolved’.

    HiEmranmranx,
Thank you. But, stoping the image size from getting resized has nothing to do with changing the layout that is outlined in that post. Images are resized to the theme’s default max width (1170px). That comes from the functions.php.

I was seeking advise in finding a way to stop the ‘forced’ resizing of ONLY the one image that I have put as a banner in “Extra Header Header Widget Area”.

I don’t want changes to take effect all across the website.

Any suggestions from the Theme developers will be a great help.

The issue got resolved – it was a plugin conflict. Thank you.

    Hi,
Just checked back my website – seems the header/body issues has been resolved. Probably customizer/WP developers applied the fix – it is fixed!
    Marking it resolved
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi Denzel,
    The main issue is this:
    1) The header and Body get “disconnected” upon stretching the browser window – header section moves to the right and body moves away to the left!

Will you please look into it – thanks for the Menu suggestion – i will double check it. I think it was set to horizontal.

The same is happening on my website as well – I noticed this behavior occurring on-off basis quite regularly. Normally, upon clicking the “save & publish”, it goes dim and changes to “saved” – now it remains at its “save & publish” state !

There are also other anomalies pertaining to the header and body misalignment – I have just posted that issue on the forum.

Anyhow, it is a Beautiful day around here!

    Cheers.

Just added the following to override the code in the main.css.

    .widget {
    overflow: visible !important;
    }

Amazing, it seems to have solved the issue – truncation is no more there. I have no idea how it worked and why it was causing that problem!

[I just hope this change will not cause problem somewhere else, though.]

I am really grateful to you for looking into it, investing your time in it and helping out.

    Thank you so very much.

I commented it out – still no effect. Baffling!

I have tried many tricks – none seems to be fixing it. If I change the top margin of either the ‘img’ or ‘li’, it effects all the posts in the PIS’ list – that makes the Front page look awkward!

I also tried to apply the sidebar specific styles in the PIS “Custom Style” – nothing works from there.

Anyhow, it doesn’t seems to be the PIS issue – So, I am going to mark it as “resolved”.

I really appreciate your help and support very much – I hope the users will recognize your great work and appreciate it.

    Thank you.

Thank you Aldolat – but, than it will increase the margin all over. The margin issue is occurring only in the first rows of the pages other than the “Home/Front” page and in the 5th and 6th posts of all pages.

It is a rather puzzling behavior – I cannot get it why it is happening in those places only.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Scorcher,
Thank you very much for the code – I will try it tomorrow.

There were also some other issues, like the ‘top margin’ of the ‘content’ and ‘sidebar’ containers not calibrating the same in various browsers – webkit/blink and the other browser engines don’t always render the css the same way.

BTW, any idea what ‘element’ to target the padding in the sidebars? I will like to change the sidebar left-right padding to 10px.

    Thank you

    Hi Kerdezo,
Thank you for the information – will wait for it.

    Hi Denzel,
Thank you for looking into it – I have fixed most of the issues (sort of “band-Aid” methods). Will follow on your suggestions later.

As you stated, “Sticky menu has been changed to scroll up reveal.
After you scroll down, you need to scroll up to reveal the sticky menu.”, yes, it works that way. But, is there a CSS way to make it ‘sticky’ like in the prior version?

    Thank you.

    Hello Aldo,

My bad – what an embarrassment! Yes, I closed the comment tag, and it is working perfect.

Thank you very much for looking into it.

    Wishing you a great 2017.
