u should look at ur plugins, a plugin confliction is a most possibly issue that maybe u’re faced with. look at ur .htaccess file, see which rules are set and which are for plugins ( out of wordpress rules ).
i myself think that, rules of .htaccess file that are not belongs to hide login are the only problems and should looked up.
and i notice that demo is a fresh install of wordpress : )

why u need it ?
you can look up plugin’s file for $options array.

it doesn’t have a database table, all the values are stored normally in wp_options.

please state clearly which url u’re redirected to and copy/paste the part which belongs to hide login plugin from .htaccess file.

plugin uses .htaccess for redirection, the rules are set for your blog domain only ( can be seen by viewing /public_html/.htaccess file )
i already tried it out, clean and safe.

This is not a virus ?? it’s an open source plugin, you can check up its codes. abso-bloody-lutely it’s from something else, maybe ftp injection! please don’t interrupt hide login forum with this kind of topics. ??

if the problem occurred hours later, so maybe a new plugin installation made it possible ?!
.htaccess file located in public_html/.htaccess ( i recommend using ftp to edit it )
and the rules of hide login is set there, you can delete them whenever you want, or just disable the plugin from HIDE-LOGIN’S SETTING PAGE ??

maybe that’s the BPS made trouble! if this is the case, you can’t use both at the same time. disable BPS ( assure if its rules are omitted from .htaccess file ) and see if hide login works!

again activate the plguin and this time in the plugin setting page, disable it!! not directly from plugins page.
or you can do it manually, open .htaccess file, find the part belongs to hide login plugin ( starts with # HIDE-LOGIN ) and remove it.

and for the blogs, you should use redirection to blog address not default settings.

did you install wordpress at the root folder or at a sub-folder ? ( e.g. on a subdomain ) does your .htaccess file contain any other rules ?
there is no difference in use of this plugin on a single user wordpress blog or on a multi site one.

when u logged out, u should try to log in via login page to access admin not wp-admin directly.
and about the settings, maybe there’s a confiliction with another plugin ?!

open .htaccess file in root folder, see the part belongs to hide login plugin starts with # HIDE-LOGIN.
there you can find your login slug.
just don’t miss it ??
