Is there a way to find the CDN resources loaded in a website?
Now i use the developer tool of Chrome, inspect->sources. But i can’t recognize what is a real CDN (external resource)…

In WP core only Gravatar collect data? CDN like emoji or pingback/trackbak service dosen’t collect not even the ip address?

So if i disable avatar under Settings ? Discussion, WP core stop sending Gravatar the hash/email?
Just a think, probably Gravatar have possibility to “read” the hash as email, so i prefer disable it if i can…

For who are interested i had contact Gravatar assistence and i understood that they collect email for avatar and for notify new comments (i have not clear this last point) and they endeavor to keep this data under the GDPR points.

i already read these documents, but i think are incompleted:

1) It said that all the datas of registered users are collect by WordPress. But i can’t see where (state/region/city ecc…) are kept and why this data are collected (in some sites these can be sensitive date not only personal).

2) It not said if others organizations collect data through WordPress, except for Gravatar.

3) How can i oppose me, have access ecc… to these datas collection?
3.1) If i disable Avatar from settings, this blocks Gravatar to collect user email?
3.2) How can i block WordPress to collect data from user profiles?

I would love see a privacy policy by WordPress organization specific for the CMS.

thanks for answered.

I know this, i’m no talking about plugins and themes, i’m talking about of the cms core, wich datas collect and when? I think this should included in the downloaded files in a privacy policy.

I know Gravatar collect email, and nothing more. There is others data collections by Wp organization or external services?

I’m starting to understand the 7 point. The social media question is really hard, probally i would ban the social media embeed in plugin, if that won’t ask consent. But it’s just my opinion.

Some times i’ve adviced about this the authors, but seems they dosen’t understand the rule (my english could be the problem), they are convinced about this:

If they dosen’t collect data
directly, it’s ok instal third part
profiling cookie or cdn without know which data are collect and for wich purpose.

Probably they ignore that do it, these third part profiling cookie or cdn, are setted by tutorial video, social widget ecc… in the backend.

I really appreciate the developer’s work, i’m developer too, i know how much work there are behind themes and plugins. But ignore this rule expose the site owner (that trust in the guidelines rules) to important fine for privacy issue. Especially in Europe.

The error was for some css transitions added to the menu elements.
