danke für deine Rückmeldung. Anbei ein Link zu einer Testumgebung. Das Problem habe ich mit jedem Theme. Es sieht so aus, dass in der Shop übersicht/Archiv jeweils “inkl. 19 % MwSt.” und “zzgl. Versandkosten” in einem eigenen <p> Tag h?ngen.

Ich h?tte die Anzeige gerne in einer Zeile, sprich:
“inkl. 19 % MwSt. zzgl. Versandkosten”

But If I like to put in a price like 1.999,99 then the following error is shown:
“Price is invalid. Please enter in a monetary decimal (.) format without thousand separators and currency symbols.”

So I have to put in 1999.99 that give me the output 1.999,99 which is great.

But in Germany nobody paste an . as an decimal and so it is not common or user friendly. Is there a way to configure the input field?

thanks for this. But I’ve got one question.

I think, the pricing field is only a renamed HTML Number field. What I’ve asked for is a pricing field, which i can configure so that for german restrictions the correct pricing format is usable. Our pricing format is for example:

1.999,99 €
Thousand sep. = “.”
Decimal sep. = “,”
2 Decimals
€ Sign after the Price with one blank before.

Actually only 0-9 or “.” is possible. Also no currency sign.

Possible to get a real pricing field?

I’ve enabled thumbnails for “advert” post type with the following code, and that works, within the admin, I get now featured images shown.

    add_post_type_support( 'advert', 'thumbnail');
}

Also your snippet with adverts_get_main_image delivers an image.

But what I like to have is the possibility to use the WordPress core function get_the_post__thumbnail() to show the images. I like to build a childtheme and will use how much core functions as possible for my archive page to use the files dynamic and with theme options for archive pages.

Is there a chance to use get_the_post__thumbnail()?

Hi Greg,

Thats do the job to use archive-advert.php but there is one more question to get the archive usable for me.

If an image is setup (for example through your snippet) as featured the image itself is not visible on archive-advert.php.

Something is preventing that core WordPress function (get_the_post_thumbnail())doing its job, even though has_post_thumbnail() is true.

Could you explain me how? I’ve checked this Problem together with Tom Usborne from Generatepress for Generatepress Theme and now we have to ask why this is prevented.

you can use my 3rd party addon for WPAdverts, the AddonSuite for WPAdverts. Within the admin dashboard you can choose the category limitation and then the selection is basically on ” – Choose Category – ”

I’ve the same problem. But you can check the following as a dirty quick fix:

Go to UM Settings page and then:
-> Appearance -> Profile Menu -> Enable menu icons in desktop view

Change the checkbox on “Enable menu icons in desktop view” and custom Tabs will be displayed.
