In reply to: Contributor Login Pagewell what happened?… the suspense.. I have similar issue. My test contributor now cannot get into WP dashboard. Myself as superadmin can get in no problem.
Cool. Thanks for the honest and earnest reply.
Sincerely,
LeeHi Justin,
Here’s the screen capture of a form.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/s23gvyytogka98g/Screen%20Shot%202017-02-03%20at%2010.14.02%20AM.png?dl=0Hey btw, I suspect you already prescribe this, but just wanted to confirm. I already had two plugins called “User Specific Content” and “login redirect” that I believe probably should not operate at same time as your members plugin, am I right?
I noticed this morning, when I tried to login, that it was behaving oddly, so I deactivated your plugin and it appears to be normal now. I do however, enjoy your plugin to ‘create/delete and otherwise manage’ my roles (and activate when i need to).
Would you say this a safe strategy (to activate when i need to add/change roles – then deactivate it)?
sorry to hear that @bjenkin4180
well hopefully WP starts implementing a cross plugin/theme compatibility check, much like they do for the Core WP (based on customer feedback and the publishers UAT testing).it’s not the ideal way to install, cross fingers and hope for the best as an acceptable process. developing in a sandbox is of course good method, but I’m pretty sure many of the casual users do not have the time nor resources to do this
cheers and best of luck.
Hi,
I saw this thread marked as ‘resolved’?
Is this true?Do we have an incidence resolution to the issue ie. what was the cause?
I just experienced this issue as well (being a new Clef user) for my site.
Unfortunately the recovery URL did not work.
I went into my site via FTP to delete the clef plugin of course to remedy the issue, however, I really liked the tool and would love to reinstall it, but not if I’m having to go into FTP to kill it.This of course will not be acceptable performance once we go Live. Wondering what the next step is short of just reinstalling and crossing my fingers.
Concerned and now on the fence user.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Not working with woocomerceThanks for replying Jeff.
I actually installed TML and its awesome out of the box. Its very understated. It delivers on many fronts for core features woo is just lacking. For one, user reg confirmation email, pw reset, recaptcha, my theme (child)… and yes, it does it from the woo login/reg / my-account page (not just wp-admin). I’m soooo happy it made my life way easier. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Not working with woocomerceHi,
just jumping in.any resolution to this?
I”m new to TML. I was under impression TML takes care of the registration email confirmation link no? Or are you Jeff asking if Woo controlling this say, via another plugin? (since woo does not do this out of box).
@stephin21,
did you resolve your issue?I’m wondering to use this plugin with my woo site and clef 2 factorial authentication and hope that it’s compatible i.e. the /my-account woo login/registration page needs to work with this plugin, not just /wp-admin page.
Sorry, Jeff, www.remarpro.com forum for specific plugin page does not appear to have seach function, hence i’m going page by page… : )

In reply to: [User Specific Content] wow.. love it. It does exactly what it says it doesI fixed it.
Please see this genius at Stackoverflow
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/138435/redirect-not-logged-in-users-if-they-are-on-a-specific-page/138445#138445?newreg=850d22c716074378bf788b0cdb8569daworks brilliantly. Stops the endless self reference loop via ‘template_rediret’ and a restricted pages array. Best part, is it acts on the specific pages you want it to act on.
peace out.

In reply to: [User Specific Content] wow.. love it. It does exactly what it says it does..I may not have been clear on my original post. I actually have a question for the developer of this plugin.
can this plugin accommodate a redirect, on auto detect non logged in user?
The message option is great, but better would be to auto redirect them to (my woo login page – in my case). All attempts to java script into the message field get striped off.
HELPPP!! I”m pulling my hair out for the last few days.. no plugin for this sorta thing seems batty nuts, as it’s a common practise method these days. It engages the potential customer, and offers actual customers instant access to the site, but once detected that the user is NOT logged in/registered, he should automatically be redirected to login/register. And NOT at the front door, like some plugin do (which is more suited for intra/extranet sites).

In reply to: [jonimo Simple Redirect] Redirect registered usersI’m not sure if Michael intended to have answered his question from a different angle than what Jon has replied, but if i understood correctly (and my question too) is will this plugin detect a visitor who is already logged in to redirect to another page? (vs post login redirect)
So for example.
On my welcome page I have a link to ‘get started’. On my ‘get started’ page, if the visitor has not logged on/registered, I would like this dectected and redirected to the login/register page instead.
Hope that makes sense.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Theme My Login] Broke my sitei was about to install this… but your situation has me hesitating.
are you sure it was this plugin that messed up stuff?
were you able to revert to previous saved state? (using a backup).
Hope you had luck.
