  • @alimir Just checking back on this. Is it possible to integrate a ulike-button on each CPT record that is displayed on the archive/grid view of the CPT data?

So to be clearer… here’s an example. Let’s say I use CPT’s to house and display different WP Plugins. On the the individual plugin-page, I know that I can add a Ulike button and it will work to record votes for that plugin (and each different) plugin displayed.

However, my question is on the grid/archive pages that are used with CPT’s. Those views show previews of multiple different plugins all together on a single page.

    My question is…

Is there a way to incorporate the ULike buttons so that if a grid is showing 10 differnt plugins, the ULike shows up along side each of the 10 different plugins. And each ULike buttons shows the vote (various) totals for each of the 10 plugins and allows the person to vote for one or more of the vote plugins.

    Thanks!

I have been using Wise Chat and it’s a pretty good (and very configurable) implementation of live chat. Worth a look if you are interested!

I’m in need of a similar approach for my multisite network. How did this end up working out for you @rauterkus?

    @frogerme
I’m setting up dozens of special event subdomains that that will house users initially, and they each need to end up syncing with a master central node main domain (?) for the post-event common area.

All is on the same server right now.

So there’s (2) synching data and (2) single sign on between multisites. If I understand this discussion my model might be a lower performance hit because it’s a 1-1 sync for each event.

But I’m still confused about the single sign on user experience. Am I reading it correctly that I just need to set the defines you quotes above for each subdomain-domain relationship? No need for SSO plugins or services?

@alimir thanks, if I should start a new thread, please let me know.

However, I’m looking to take our user submitted content (CPT’s) and put a unique ULike widget both on the post itself (each time a user submits a post) and includes the widget on the archive page so that the user can vote in either place.

    Is that possible?

    (BTW, great plugin!)

I a Jitsi video conference embedded at the top of the page, it’s full(ish) width… maybe 800px wide. There is also a right-hand columnn of, say 300px.

There is content that I need people to interact with lower on the page, but I want the video conference to still stay on the screen when they through the content.

To do that well, I need to embedded video conference element to become sticky, shrink to 300px wide and be repositioned to the bottom right of the page (putting it at the bottom of the right-hand column).

Then when it’s back to the top, I want to restore it back to the original location (resize back to 800px and moved back to the left-side of the page.

    Is that description helpful?

Seems like there might be a way to do this with CSS, but I’m not very knowlegeable about it yet.

I have major concerns with this…

“***ATTENTION: After upgrade the plugin may be deactivated due to a known issue, to workaround please refresh this page and activate plugin.***

… I’ve looked for discussions about the status of this “known issue” which appears to put at risk all advertising campaigns of all users of this plugin each time there is an update.

    Seems like a show-stopper.

How long before this error is fixed? Seems like, from the reviews, this show-stopper error has been lingering for 9 months at least.
