In reply to: [Gutenberg] This is the opposite of clean html/cssThis article is just odd, sorry but this review is so valid. The code/HTML the editor generates is almost impossible to use outside of the block editor. Most devs want to see the code, so they can make bulk edits changes to a page or post, lets say all H2s need to change to H3s, in most editors this is a breeze. In Gutenberg it is a mess, I’m sorry but saying Gutenberg is not HTML is just silly.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] False informationYou can take backups without the images, then manually move the uploads folder. I have the paid version it rocks and it is one purchase for lifetime, but I have in the past done this and it works fine. Most WP sites are super small it is just the image folders really. But you are right most WP sites will be 200-400MBs or more with files included.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Not for usWas it not released as part of WP 5.0 in December 2018, I cant really call this new anymore. I left my review, I dont have time to bug fix for the devs sorry. Holistically imo there has been no product management in any real world way. I think you should hire folks to review this and pay them. But if this is still new and in beta/alpha why is it part of core? This is the Ouroboros I find my head in every time I open this frankly alien looking software. Anyways thanks best we dont overload this as I know its not meant for chats like this, its a review of a plugin.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Not for usThe UI/UX is not great in this model either. We have tried a few combos but frankly it does nothing for us we cant already do without more supported/tested setups. I cant see what Gutenberg is for other than to be disruptive, it makes no business sense for me to invest in a thing I cant plan around or have any voice within. In a word it is risky, and I frankly have lost all faith in the direction of WP since Gutenberg was launched. No one is using the FSE themes so I think this is the real result, I cant see massive themes live Avada, Bridge etc changing, so why? All I get with Gutenberg is a risky plugin that could break my sites at any time, all without really being a page builder/layout front end of any real kind. The CSS etc it writes and the markup are just horrid. The JSON idea for theming, I just cant see the logic of any of it and I 100% can’t use it as is now.
