In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Fater Error Unable to Activate Fresh WordPress InstallHi,
It seems that you have an outdated PHP version. You need at least PHP 5.3.0.

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Multiple Blogs via Subfolder?Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I’ll think about it for the next update ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Support for post formats / Jetpack Markdown pluginI just released an update (2.10). There’s Post Type support ??
I’m also working on a bigger update that I think it will be very interesting (and useful).
Hi,
I can’t reproduce your error. I used successfully special chars (í, ó, ? ) that you listed.
Maybe it can be an encoding error of the file.I need some more infos.
For the txt, what editor do you use? Notepad? Do you know what type of encode it uses? UTF-8, Latin-1? What version of WordPress do you use?Thank you in advance. Anyway, I’ll try to find out the issue.
P.s. If you don’t use Notepad, please try to make a plain text file with it and see what happens.

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Update existing posts? As said, you can also move the txt file, which was published, from “posted” folder to the default one (Apps/Post_via_Drop box), it’s pretty straightforward.

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Update existing posts?Hi,
what do you mean for updating post? Have you encountered some problems?
Pvd already supports it in two ways: one is to put the id of the post that you want to update inside the [id] tag, the other is to move the txt file, which it was just posted, from the “posted” folder to the default folder (Apps/Post_via_Dropbox). It has the id in filename, e.g. “14-some title.txt”, in this way Pvd can update it.
You can read faqs for more info.Bye,

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Support for post formats / Jetpack Markdown pluginHi,
I’m working on an update and I think it will support post format ??
Pvd works exactly just as if you had made a post through normal interface, so Jetpack should work well.

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Error – not postedHi,
Thank you for your help.
I’m trying to hunt down the bug, but I’m not so sure that it depends on activation/reactivation.
Post via Dropbox does not store any informations about ids, posts, etc. The infos that you see in the log/error activity are purely for information purposes and don’t affect the operation of the plugin.
So, PVD should work properly with any posts without regarding on how (and when) they are been posted.Maybe, it could be an error with Dropbox authentication or… a more strange bug ??
Fortunately, it does not affect too much on the functionality of the plugin.. Anyway, I’m working on an update: if I find out a solution, I will include it.P.s. pages are on the to-do list ??

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Error – not postedHi,
I have too little infos for understanding what does not work.
Have you correctly formatted your text file? Maybe, it contains some type of chars that the plugin can’t handle (I’m working on an update). Can you make a try with a very simple title and content and see if it works?

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] Disqus not loading on postHi,
Can I see your site?
It’s pretty strange, Post via Dropbox works as if you make a new post with the normal interface of WordPress.
I don’t know very well Disqus, but I think it works at level of frontend (javascript) and PVD shouldn’t affect it at all.P.s. What a nice bunny in your avatar ??

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] All Files being posted as oneIt’s strange… it should work fine.
It seems that your files somehow have the same ID, so the plugin edits an existing post rather create new one.Have they different names? Are you sure that there’s no ID at start of filename? Moreover, can you confirm that inside there’s no reference to [ID] tag?
Anyway, I’m working on an update that fixes some bugs and adds new features. It will be ready soon.

In reply to: [Post via Dropbox] PHP Parse Error?Hi,
Which version of PHP are you using? Post via Dropbox requires at least PHP 5.3.0.
I think this error message is related to Anonymous Functions. It’s a feature that is available since PHP 5.3.0 (and upper).
