Same problem here, looks horrible in both the 2010 and 2011 templates. I would love to find a fix for this.

I’m having this same problem. Why in the world is it so hard to get the absolute path for my folders?

hmmm, i dunno, my pages code looks different, i might try a different template. What i have now looks like this:

and i dont really want my whole blogroll up there, just a link to other non-blog pages on my site.

Thank you James! I’ve still got a lot to learn, but I managed to fix those problems thanks to your help. Now I’m trying to figure out how to put links to non-wordpress pages under my “pages” heading on the sidebar, where my “About” and “Contact” pages are.

I’ve only used the basic theme, and haven’t really modified it that I know of, except maybe colors in the header.

I suppose I mean the main index.php file in the root.

Well, I procrastinated and am still on 2.05, and I’m trying to upgrade to 2.1 (I’ll get 2.2 eventually). I wasn’t sure if I could upgrade from 2.05 to 2.2 without first going to 2.1?

I probably make things more difficult than they should be.

I use 1&1 with my wordpress, but i’m no expert. I’m assuming you have your MySQL database set up? I forget exactly how I set mine up though, it’s been awhile.

and on this same note, is it possible to add meta keywords to my page, and if so which file?

im using the latest version of wordpress, 2.04? and the plugin i tried is old, it was written by Phil Hord..

basically all i want to do is figure out how to get a small 250×250 block of adsense on the left-side of the first post on my page, with my posts text wrapped around the adsense..

oh well, evidently that plugin is garbage, at least with this version of wordpress.. because i see no “adsense” button like the plugin author described..
