    Hi Charlie
This is the link to another video. Here in reverse order, you can see that after deactivate the plugin the website works again.

    Hi Charlie.

Thanks for answering. This is a link to a video file showing what is happening when the plugin is activated. As you can see there, the website works properly and as soon the plugin is activated the site crash.

    https://doc-10-10-docs.googleusercontent.com/docs/securesc/2ga4qgnkui8f42nrvarc1dfgo8ll7uqr/kqgltul0qv7ljr7nac88t2h40mlchdl7/1656083175000/09378526921435085205/09378526921435085205/1NKuVbVf3GNvSOOnrwD8ha9EXuTvqPn5C?e=download&authuser=0?

    Regarding your questions:

Is the plugin active now? I can’t access your website, and it isn’t a 504 error: the browser indicates that there are too many redirects, and this doesn’t have anything to do with Ecwid.
There is a lot of guides out there on how to fix the error and what it usually means, check out this one, for example: https://rockcontent.com/blog/err_too_many_redirects/

No. The plugin was not activated until this morning to save the video. However the too many redirects is something that i saw before bbut after reload the page it works all the times. I will check the suggested link anyway.

You mentioned that you were only able to deactivate Ecwid plugin in the Plesk dashboard. Just for extra background knowledge on the situation: are you using Plesk to host your WordPress site, and when you say that, you mean you had to delete the plugin files from the hosting itself, right? And how did you install the plugin originally, was it via the WordPress dashboard?

Yes. I’m using plesk to handle my sites. However plugins configuration has to be done on wordpress itself. When the page crash, is not possible to get into the wordpress dashboard therefore the deactivation of the plugin has to be done in Plesk plugin handler. I did not delete the plugin because i upload several products and didnt want to lose them if i delete the plugin. The plugin was installed via wordpress dashboard

You mention that during the product load your website worked well (that includes the WordPress dashboard). So it looks like when the plugin was active, the website worked originally, but then stopped working. Is that so?
Do you recall what else you could’ve changed in your setup before the website broke?

Yes the products and plugin itself worked well during the insertion of the the products allowed. All of them worked well and page load correctly on desktop. The problem start when the Ecwid widget was added to the lateral sidebar of the theme. It shows the products in the sidebar but clicks on it derives in 504 error. After deactivation of the plugin, in the widget bar appears a message that excwid widget was not compatible with blocks. No matter that, i erase the widget but the ecwid plugin no longer loads.

What is the version of your Ecwid plugin?

    6.10.22

`Unfortunately, I can’t say anything about that before I can see how the errors look. Please, let me know where I can see them once you fix the too many redirects error on your website. I will check that out as well.

The theme used is Newsever Pro 2.1.2.1

I’ve installed this theme on my test page and Ecwid functions as intended there, you can check it out yourself: https://lamp.ecwid.net/~charlie/wordpress/?page_id=50

So we can rule out the incompatibility with the theme here.

Looking forward to helping you further.`

Hope the video can illustrate properly the issues.

Anything else you need on my side let me know. I really want to have this sorted out as find a proper and friendly solution on this plugin especially the kind of seamless embed in the website.

The hosting provider increase the PHP limit to 128MB. The files sent are not that big they sum like 20MB. We sent the post info to different domains and in the ones updated to 4.7 and last postie version we get the same error. In one that we dont update the posts sent were published. We test the config and everything looks ok, but no post published. In ones we get the warning noted on other we just get a kind of blank page after hit process the email

In other thread a i receive a hint from bdbrown to solve the problem in that thread. It doesn’t work, but i use that advice in this thread and works. Basically the problem comes when the Jetpack plugin is activated. As soon the Jetpack is disabled the widgets appear normally on appearance menu. When you activate Jetpack, the options disappear again and only the regular widget zone works. For now i will keep it enable meanwhile i find another plugin to share post.

No child theme was used. All the documentation was followed in all the sites. The problem was only in one of the sites. All the others work well. We couldn’t find the reason of the problem. We will keep using the regular widget area instead. Anyway thanks for your help.

With the versions earlier than 2.0 (i never use it because there was a jump from 1.xx to version 3.0) we use the pages on the next phones: Iphone 6, Iphone 5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Ace GT5380 (This one not good as the other ones) and always show the page correctly. Is like load any other page like imdb for example, you choose desktop mode and see the same page as desktop. i Don’t know if to present the page was needed some kind of responsive code, but the page just used to show as i tell. Don’t know what earlier version you check but from V3.0 to date this problem start. And as the page show exactly as we want after resize we can see that is not a problem of the screen size or something. The thing is that resizing for each post is annoying for me and for sure it is to users, thats why we want to correct.
Loading other pages that have option to load desktop don’t have this issue.
About the plugins i have almost the same since the beginning, W3 Cache, Page Navi, Wordfence, and also Jetpack. Maybe this plugin can be the problem??
    Thanks for respond.

I think i don’t explain well the issue. We don’t want to use responsive mode. We want that the page appears on browser as it was in previous versions. In previous versions when you don’t use responsive mode the page load in mobiles and show the whole page without a problem, exactly the same you look on desktop. And for most effects was perfectly readable. Small but readable. Before , no matter the device the page did appears at full width every time and for each post. Now the page is not presented at full width, only the left top corner is showed. Then for each post you have to resize the page to show the full layout. Not all the people, including me, like the responsive mode. The desktop mode gives way more freedom to choose exactly what you want to read without to have to scroll. Thats what we had before. The thing we are looking for is that as soon as the page is loaded the page fit to the screen were is presented, no matter how small the text can look. The page as a whole not just the top corner.
