Indeed, there is a button which seems to replace the former apply to existing posts. That button seems to indicate it will apply to -all- custom post types. Is that the case? Also, what about future posts?

It now works in Firefox and chrome. When I changed the setting you advised, upload worked in both but cropping did not show in chrome. Took a guess and Combine CSS. Now upload and cropping work.

PS – I think the problem is with ajax. On a user’s profile, the friend Request Link (ajax) does not work. Message link (not ajax) does work. The profile picture upload (ajax) does not work. Also, any sort of pop up might have problems with browser settings.

Finding and stomping this bug will be a very difficult task due to the non universal way browsers treat these things and backwards compatibility. A quicker fix would be an option to run without ajax or pop ups. Click on an option n go to a page sort of thing.

I LOVE your plug in. Have several dozen niche domains waiting to clone the current testing site onto. So hoping you see me as a help, not a bother.

Resent upgrade did not fix the problem with friends. In firefox, can hover over Friend and see three options: Remove, Message, and Select. Each work. In Chrome, you see the options when you hover but clicking on them does nothing.

In fact, since the upgrade, the add friends feature no longer sends a request in any browser. You click the link and nothing happens. Worked fine in firefox before the upgrade.

Fresh install of WP and Profilegrid – Problem persists.

New install at different folder, different user, & different domain with no plugins ever installed other than the ones in the WP package which I deleted- Problem persists.

Problem verified by IT consultant working for the state of Ohio in that capacity and two others.

As nobody else here seems to be reporting the problem, all i can figure is a resent update to the plug in brought the new issue -or- the plug in is not compatible with my server configuration. What could cause this on my end?

I have now deactivated all plugins except the basic prophilegrid. I have changed themes. I have rebooted the server. Three people in three states have cleared cashe, cleared cookies, and rebooted their devices. The problem persists.

I will now try a fresh install of Word and profile grid.

Not confused at all and mentioned needing a service. Currently using Youtube to experiment. A member gives me the url of there live stream, I create the post, they go live. Going to change it up n create something that users dont need me for. I will create posts in your platform, call them channels. Then I will write something that changes the info in the DB ( author name, url, so on ) on the fly. Only complexity is the scheduling part. The idea is to have a channel where members fill time slots.

When the live stream time slot ends, the url is saved for play back and replaced in the channel post by the next or by a link to scheduling. Playback is controlled by listing the authors videos. Simple search of author n custom post type.

Folk, your plug in is amazing. Makes my job so much easier. But, a branded broadcasting solution would make it even better. I am good using youtube for this project, but next is a cam girl thing. Thinking Youtube is out for that.

It is set set correctly. It is just empty. I put a photo in it to test. Works great. Great plug in.

Found the bug.

Flexi Settings > Gallery > Navigation Style

Page Number setting – This option displays all photos on all album pages. Completely ignores category info in link. The is how I had it set.

Show More Button setting – This option shows photos correctly.

Mouse Scroll – This option causes no photos to show anywhere.

I am comfortable using the setting that works well. However, been awake for over 24 hours to figure this out. I need to know how this could be. Please, if you find the error in the code do tell me what it was. If you don’t, I fear I will go ripping into the code for days on end just to satisfy my curiosity.

Flexi Showcase with pop up. Figured the pop up was JS. Likely a coincidence because I removed it. The problem as I see it is the ‘get’ parameter is not getting passed. On the pro version, not buying for support. Buying fore user file edit feature, well if can get to work.

So what can cause the ‘get’ parameter of category name not to get passed???

Check ans check. Might help to mention it functioned correctly once. I added the flexi widget with pop up and the entire theme broke. Links and forms stopped working across the platform’s front end, not just in flexi. I figured the widget’s js was conflicting making nothing clickable. So I deactivated it and thought all was good. Then i noticed this problem but did not think they could be related. Could they be?

I thought about deleting and reinstalling, but I think it would just bring back what ever setting is screwed up.

Not that it is a lot of money, but if we can figure this out the pro version is sold. Your plugin is exactly what I need for what I am doing. Just need user edits from pro version. So if there is anything you would like me to try, I would be glad to help improve the product and help both of us.
