What I did is get rid of the email notification wordpress uses by default. I have set up a mailgun account (free up to 10k emails / month) as my default WP and Forms email sender. You can read more on how to set up mailgun with WP here.

After several weeks of testing, I have found that with Mailgun I can get a performance that any shared server or VPS cant give me, so I recommend it as a must for any heavy form dependent WP site for managing all email notifications (to users and admins). It has an excellent log of emails sent in which you can check at a glance everything outgoing from your site. Also, my forms are now being submitted nearly instantly (less than a second).

I downgraded using the previous version of the Plugin. Before the update I made a backup of the Plugin folder in /wp-content/plugins and when I saw that it wasn’t working well i reuploaded the backup after deleting the folder.

We are not using any role management Plugin. We are using 30+ Plugins due to the complexity of our site but this problem has only appeared since we did the update to SJB 2.4.4. I did the downgrade back to SJB 2.4.3 and the CV’s are accesible without any issue as before.

Something has changed in this matter that breaks the ability to download the CV’s from the WP admin.Hope this helps to solve the issue.

Same as @ramarsana here. I had to downgrade to get CVs working again.

We are having the same exact issue. This issue has been causing excesive load times on our site. On page load, we have more than 30+ requests of this Ajax Call. Can’t this be minimized or at least avoided in certain pages?

Also, we are having performance issues as on submit times are over 4-5 seconds for all forms. I am quite certain our crappy Shared Hosting has something to do with this problem but it is the first time CF7 underperforms in one my sites like this.

I have the same issue. The plugin only displays in English and not in Catalan (the WP site language). I have tried changing the .po and .mo files name to ca_CA / es_CA / ca_ES with no luck.
