Oops! I guess I spoke to soon!

Even though I left unchecked, the box “Anyone can comment, it doesn’t work it lets anyone comment! Also there is link to register. Was that part of meta that I deleted?

OK Whew! I don’t realyl know what was happening probably GiGo! Every thing is working right now. The blog stuff and recent post and all that. I think what was happening was the defaults, like you said. Thank you very much for helping me.

I want to get rid of Recent Post and everything under it.
I want to get rid of Blogroll and eveything under it.
I want to change the name of “Meta to “Log In”

Somehow in the admin area “Widgets”, something is not working right. For one thing all I see is “Meta” there and there is no “Custom Meta”

I did drag the “Meta” over to to the right sidebar anyway although the frontpage showed one anyway.

Also I think my logo image is rotating but I think I can change that in the theme ptions

I also don’t understand that widgets area. According to that is nothing in the sidebar but they still show up on the front page.

Thanks. It didn’t get rid of “Blogroll” or “Recent Posts” though. I didn’t have those before when it was on my computer but I don’t remember what I did to get rid of them.

Well I haven’t uploaded the custom meta plugin yet I was saving that till last. here is the site url now. here is the site URL:

I’d like to get rid of everything on the right except the mets and I’d like to change that to “Log In”

I’m going to change the background of the logo from a gradient to a solid green.

OK Regarding the Meta problem, I went in to the actual file and removed two line of code and that cured it.

I uploaded WordPress to the server last nite and everything looks good except I still have a “blogroll” and “Recent Posts on the right side over the login. and “Meta” still displays and I want it to say “Log In”.

I disabled the left sidebar so nothing shows over there now. I really appreciate your help me like this!

Specifically, if you add:

height: 200px

to the ‘Logo Area: Styling’ option within the Atahualpa Options, that will give you more logo room. Change the 200px to however much you want.

When I saved the changes this is what resulted:

Ok I reread your prior post and removed the feed icons however, the feed links are still in the logon widget. Could I remove them as well as increase the height of the logo space on the front page by modifying a css and/or a php file?

Ok I activated the left side bar under options activate the login widget but it has “entries and “comments” I would like to get rid of. Also the post and comments and search bar at top right corner are still there.

It did! I still have the rss sybol. the “Posts, Comments and a search box on the upper-right corner.

But now I don’t have login! This great almost what I want but How do I display just the loginin with nothing else a user could click on?
