In reply to: [Starbox - the Author Box for Humans] Does not show up in Twenty TwentyfourI resolved the issue by adding [starbox] shortcode on the single post template.
But I have another question: When I try to add a style, it disappears after saving. For example: “<a style=”color: red”>Link</a> After saving, it becomes <a>Link</a>. Why?

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Four] Looks goodThanks for your reply. I couldn’t figure out the template thing, because the real content appears way below the template. Took a bit to figure out.

On Twenty Twenty it looks OK.
So it’s a Jetpack + Twenty Nineteen issue. Because– it looks OK on Twenty Nineteen when JetPack is disabled
– it looks OK on Twenty Twenty when Jetpack is both enabled/disabledThere was a new update on Twenty Nineteen too. Maybe both updates caused something. I don’t know.
I’ll stick with Twenty Nineteen + inserting videos via CustomHtml widget until the problem goes away somehow.
If I change this
style=”border: 0px; display: block; margin: 0px; width: 640px; height: 360px;”
to this
style=”border: 0;”
It displays correctly.

On the page below
https://cycling-passion.com/gallery-velo-d-or-winners-2010-2019/You’ll see the same video twice.
The first one displayed correctly, I added that one using CustomHtml widget and writing the code copying&editing from an old post.
The second one, you’ll see it is resized, I added this using the youtube embed widget.Wordpress 5.6, JetPack 9.2, Gutenberg
When I deactivate Jetpack, it displays correctly.
Disabling the shortcodes didn’t solve the problem.
Updating old posts also causing the same problem.THis site is just an example, it happens on all of my websites.

In reply to: After 5.3 update, updating old posts failsI think I found what the problem is. If there’s a “Custom Html” block, update always fails – regardless of what’s in that block.

In reply to: After 5.3 update, updating old posts failsSorry, I meant I am using Gutenberg which built in WordPress. I removed Gutenberg plugin after it merged into the WP core.
So there’s no Gutenberg plugin installed but I am using Gutenberg editor.

In reply to: After 5.3 update, updating old posts failsPHP 7.3.11
Gutenberg installedDigging a bit further, I realized that not all long posts are giving the error, only some of them.
If I can figure out what is wrong with these posts, I’ll write here.

In reply to: After 5.3 update, updating old posts failsI use twenty nineteen.
And I already did what you suggested (disabling all plugins). It’s not the plugins, the source of error is WordPress 5.3 itself.
I noticed that if the post is long (longer than 2,000 words) the update fails. Shorter posts updates successfully, if they do NOT include an iframe (i.e. google maps etc). If there’s an Iframe, google maps or something, update fails (gives “The response is not a valid JSON response” error).
I remember you (or somebody else) suggested installing the Health Check plugin a few months ago in another thread. Did you read the reviews of this plugin? I’d never install it.

The problem is WordPress 5.3, not the plugin. After updating 5.3 everything is broken. Again.
Same here. A very annoying bug.
My bad, I found the settings under the “Indexing” tab.
Great! Looking forward to a fix.
