We do not tend to monitor WordPress Forums for WPG2 posts as WPG2 has it’s own support forum. G2image, the tool you are using to select the images will only remember the folder not the page within the folder you are viewing, I will add your request to the suggested enhancements list

Yes WPG2 fully supports Gallery2 resized images.

By design the WPG2 plugin will NOT show your WordPress Sidebar, you will need to create a WPG2 Custom Header (wpg2header) and add your sidebar (<?php get_sidebar();?>) call in that file..

Also please use the WPG2 Support Forums as we do not regularly monitor the WordPress Forums.

On the front page of the gengo plugin page it lists that Gallery2 is not compatible thus I suspect your issue is not a WPG2 but more the fact Gengo and Gallery2 do not play well together. In addition, moving the text domain out of the wpg2_pluginactivate function also will break Gengo as Gengo requires the text domain be specified at plugin init.

passegua most likely you will both find you have a firewall blocking the request from WPG2 to your Gallery2 installation during validation. Please configure your firewalls to NOT block this..

Imageframe is an ongoing issue, we know about it, but considering Gallery2 2.3 is not out of SVN yet, we are not going to look at it until after we get 3.0 out..

We found the issue with the WPG2 output when selecting between the internal WordPress and the Gallery2 Standalone Page and fixed this (the fix is in the development build on WP Extend)

If all goes well and it looks all good, I be switching the stable tags to trunk this weekend..

Thanks, Expect the final RC of WPG2 3.0 on WordPress Extend next weekend, 22/23rd of September.

We are just about to release WPG2 3.0 which will no longer require wp-gallery2.php file, instead the Gallery2 output will be piped via an internal WordPress Page which you will be able to freely rename etc.. 3.0 Documentation is not actually at that site so all the documentation you found is 2.x based, I found the page that was mislabled 3.0x when it is 2.x based.

As for the link it still works for me, although that site will be also removed in the upcoming few weeks as it is no longer maintained by me.

With all due respect guys, can you please open up your eyes a little as the documentation WIKI link is listed in the Extend Page, the place you download the plugin from, in the WordPress Plugin Page, the place you activate the plugin from and the WPG2 Read Me file in the WPG2 Plugin the files you uploaded to your WordPress Installation.

These are Gallery2 Plugins and you can find them on -> https://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Download or if you are running Gallery2 2.2 download them via the plugins page in the G2 Admin Panel.

You need at least Gallery2 2.1 or greater to run WPG2 2.1x,
