In reply to: [NoMoreCaptchas] sort of doesn't workHello Dominik,
To follow up here on the support ticket you submitted 20 minutes ago which we have responded to, as well as your concerns here:1) Bots hit Admin logins more than any other login type, so it is essential that they be protected. You do not need to SSH into your site to remove a plugin, FTP access to the plugin folder is sufficient.
2) We subsidize the price of NoMoreCaptchas with a graphic – a practice that is common with apps and is stated in the registration form. In order to register, you needed to check a box that states that you understand that graphic will be shown. Further, of the thousands of installations of NoMoreCaptchas across all platforms, we have received just three queries about removing it, including yours.
3) You encountered an issue that we apologize for. We have seen one other installation with this issue and believe it may be caused when you register an IP address and not a domain, despite the form requiring a domain. We expect to release an update shortly that will account for occasions when that type of error occurs.
If you have any further issues, please feel free to follow up with our support.
Thank you.

In reply to: [NoMoreCaptchas] Disabling on comment postingHi,
We can’t switch that functionality off, but we can almost certainly resolve the conflict. Can you let me know what the app is? Then we can investigate and get back to you.Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [NoMoreCaptchas] Conflict w/ PHP GeoIP ExtensionHi again,
We’re investigating this in depth and would like to ask: do you know if you have any other plugins that use the Geo IP API?So far we’ve only been able to recreate the error when we have two or more plugins that use that service.
Feel free to email me privately if you like or would like to send a list of plugins for us to investigate.
Thanks,

In reply to: [NoMoreCaptchas] activation errorHi,
We can most likely help you with that as well, but in order to do so, I’d need to know more about your site that I don’t want to have you tell the world through this forum. Can you please write me at william (dot) scheckel at oxford-biochron.com?
Then I can continue to help you more expediently and confidentially.
Thanks.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [NoMoreCaptchas] activation errorOK, thanks. There are two potential reasons we’ve found for the error: the most likely one is that your server is running an old and possibly out-dated version of PHP.
The other, which is less likely since you did try installing directly from WordPress, is that some of the files did not get overwritten or the new folder uploaded when this new version was installed. Can you confirm that that folder /wp-content/plugins/nomorecaptchas/geoip-api is there with 3 subfolders (admin, src & timezone)?
I’m testing a patch for you now, assuming it is a question of an older version of PHP on your server. Hope to have this resolved for you shortly.
