I just encountered the same problem and used the same solution.
Comparing the two buckets it’s clear that one missing thing is to add a permission for “Everyone” to “list”.
The only other difference is that I created the original one in the Ireland region and the one created by the plugin uses the default US.
You might want to add the permission issue to the FAQ and consider adding the Region option for the creation. It might be critical for European users…
