In reply to: [OceanWP] Customiser bug with v4.01 & Child ThemeHi @wpfleek
Thanks for RCs 4.0.2 2.4.2 which seem to have resolved the two issues I had.
A) With child theme: ‘Style & Settings panel‘ and ‘Pages & Special Pages’ options are now present
B) With child theme If Boxed width set at 960px (or other arbitaty widths) the site is now rendered at that size and not1280px.
Thanks again

In reply to: [OceanWP] Customiser bug with v4.01 & Child ThemeHi ?Shahin
My three websites which all use the OceanWP theme (thank you) and OceanWP Extra plugin (2.4.1) and a child theme all exhibit the same behaviour (as described by monowebdesign) on updating to V4.0.1.
While I appear to be able to set the Content settings Boxed width at the required 960px the site is rendered at 1280px.
All customiser options are set to be on and I have tried disabling all plugins and deleted previous browsing history. WordPress version is 6.6.2 and there is no page builder.
Not sure if I can send you any relevant error screen shots as the site seens to function perfectly well albeit for a content width of 1280px and I want 960px.

Hopefully you will see a bug in the area where Content settings Boxed width is being set set
Many thanks

In reply to: [Raft] Text wrapping Issue in Content (Centre) ColumnHello Irinel,
Thanks for response. I had come to a similar conclusion but used a “columns” block to fill the centre area and that allows me to align the image to the left and it stays within the centre area as needed.
Incidentally I found the same behaviour with the Neve FSE theme which I have now switched too as both seem to have the same FSE capabilities, Neve is one of your main products and perhaps more liable to maintain?
Thanks for your prompt reply. As I am only developing a personal website as a hobby in my retirement, I won’t be looking for paid help, but thanks anyway. I also realise that NextGEN cannot provide support for the free version here but I was hoping a fellow user might be able to.
My post was prompted by your colleage @benjaminowens posts where he provided examples and here of how to use the internal API but I have not been able to find how to invoke it. Perhaps someone can help please?

In reply to: [Raft] Posible bug: Limited Caption Customisation in Raft ThemeI have found a work around for the issue but as I still believe there is a bug so I will explain the issue.
The annotated Chrome Developers Tools screen shot (I think) provides evidence.
I have set the caption colour for teh site to red (for testing) using
Appearance > Editor > select Styles icon > Select Colors > Caption (set to red)When I add an image with a caption from the media library the image displays but the caption is not visible
Chrome Developers Tools (see screenshot)
1) confirms the caption text is present
2) shows that the caption text is being forced to the theme colour I have set for Background using Theme palette.
[This means that the caption colour is identical to background and therefore not visible]Note that at the bottom of the screenshot Chrome reports caption colour is red (as I have set it) but the later CSS [copied below] forces the caption to be the theme background
.wp-block-gallery.has-nested-images figcaption, figure.wp-block-image figcaption {
color: var(–wp–preset–color–raft-bg); opacity: .6;You will see that I have deselected this CSS in Chrome Developers Tools and so I get the red caption!
My work around is to set the theme palette background to my required caption colour (black in practice) and set theme palette background (white) explicitly (#FFFFFF)
Please can you check this out. If it is not a bug how can I stop the offending CSS being applied please.
Many thanks

Apologies caption text had been inadvertantly set to white (same as background)!!
