Workaround. I can access the admin page by using the ipaddress:port/wp-admin.

That will work for now, but may bring up an interesting problem in the future.

The issue seems to be the wp-admin script is trying to reload the server based on server name. In my case that will not work because of the way I have to port forward the site. This points the admin script to my router not the actual site.

So I need to either find a way to change the name the admin is trying to reach or find some way to create an alias that points to the correct spot.

The actual site opens up fine.

I did a complete re-install of the server and installed vsftpd. Everything seems to be working OK now.
