In reply to: [Autoptimize] Flash of unstyled textAre you suggesting I should add all that code to the “Exclude scripts from Autoptimize” field?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Flash of unstyled textApologies for my ignorance – what would I do with that long line of code you just copied?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Flash of unstyled textHi,
Ok, just added jgz5qnl.js to the relevant field in AO with no change. However, looking at the source, it seems that script (the script for the typekit font kit) was not included to begin with.
Perhaps I’m barking up the wrong tree? Pretty sure that is the typekit JS, but if not maybe you could point me in the right direction?
Another idea – I’m using the X Theme, which comes with its own Typekit plugin add-on. Could this be causing the issue?

Thanks also for the separate responses I’ve received from SpamShield Tech Support, very helpful indeed.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] PageSpeed says my HTML is not minifiedThanks – I thought that might be the case. The site is rendering fast and working well, so I think I’ll leave it as it is. Autoptimize and WP Super Cache seem to play very nicely together.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginHi Frank,
Thanks for your continued help with this issue. I’m trying to temporarily deactivate the plugin so I can diagnose another issue with Events Manager, but Autoptimize refuses to deactivate. WordPress gives me the deactivation message, but the plugin remains active.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginInteresting.
When the noptimize plugin I created is activated, and Optimize Javascript is ticked, it still breaks Cornerstone.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginThanks so much for your continued help with this.
I added the code to the child theme’s function.php, but it broke Cornerstone (X theme’s front end page builder). When I removed the code, Cornerstone recovered.
Any idea what could be going on there?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginI’m using a child theme in X, so I could just add it to the functions.php of the child?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginI couldn’t get the Code Snippets plugin to work. It installs, but refuses to activate. Would I add the above code to my functions.php?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginOk – I have broken it now. Please try the link again and enter some details. The links would usually appear under the message, but now with Optimize JS enabled they won’t appear:

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Conflict with Email Before Download pluginThanks – I have disabled Optimize Javascript, so currently if you enter your details the download links work. Do you want me to leave it disabled for the time being?
