Well, I have manually pushed 5.9.3 to the server, the old plugins are still in a hold directory, and the site is somewhat coming to life, albeit a blank page. I can get to the dashboard, which is reporting that an upgrade failed, go figure.

I’m still working through issues it seems but at least it’s somewhat working but not working.

I’m going to keep the thread open for now. Thanks for the help.

I moved it back to 7.4 and the issue is still occurring. ??

I have additionally tried changing the them in the database to “twenty-twenty” with no success

Solution was the need to upgrade PHP versions. The PHP version was held back due to a legacy website that depended on PHP5.2. The site that was being built using the Forms tool was a replacement so the upgrade was able to happen.
