In my case I discovered in the error log file that two columns in the table wp_ebd_link were missing.
I added the following columns in the table wp_ebd_link:
selected_id (int)
time_requested (varchar 50)

And now it works.

Strange, it still doesn’t work for me.

I verified that the file exist on the server and that I can download it.

The code looks like this in my page:

[email-download download_id="463" contact_form_id="420"]

I get the email but when I try to download the file by pressing on the link I get

{"code":"rest_no_route","message":"No route was found matching the URL and request method","data":{"status":404}}

The link that points to the file looks like this:

https://supportform.se/wp-json/ebd/file/

What did you do to fix the problem?
