In reply to: [Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks – CoBlocks] CoBlocks v3.0.0 error and recoveryThanks for addressing the issue. It scared the *&#$^T#$ out of me!
As a related topic I just wanted to say that I was not able to remedy the issue by myself. The (self managed) website was not accessible, my cpanel did not work and the filemanager was also not accessible because it needs cpanel. So I was left high and dry, and needed my hosting provider’s assistance to get back in. I then used the ‘roll back’ plugin to instal the stable version. Very scary experience.
I appreciate hugely how accountable you are and your apologies are accepted. Let’s hope it does not happen again because Co-blocks really is the beating heart of my website.
Good luck with the fixes!

In reply to: Widgets Area problem subsistsI am not sure how to add a screenshot but this is what it says for each of the widgets:
The nav_menu block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.
So it is pretty generic and I don’t know what to do with it.
I have sent a support call to the person who created our theme. I think I have asked them before and they suggested re-installing the ‘Classic Widget’ plugin.
But that plugin, although it fixes the widget area in the back end, also changes everything I created with the block editor in widget areas into HTML code.I can manage things for now but I would rather know what the cause it.
When I open the widget area after de-activating the ‘Classic Widget’ plugin, at first the widget area is normal. But after a couple of seconds, all elements start to change into a red bock with the above type of message.
I will check out in my staging site if another theme would not produce this error. That would be a really big disappointment to me, as applying a new theme means a lot of work…. I’d rather not do that if I can help it.

It is never pleasant to get a negative review.
It happens, it is part of doing business. What is not part of doing business is a refusal to refund a product, when a client notifies you well within 24 hours about not being satisfied with the product.
I don’t know about Europe, but in America most stores have a 30-day money-back guarantee. This is not about the $38 that I spent. It is about the principle of caring about customer experiences; and making sure your product delivers. And improving it wherever relevant.
If you decide not to refund, that is your decision. This page of the WordPress Forums is meant for honest reviews of consumers. Not for escalating where no escalation is required.
I hope you will reconsider and I also hope that others will have more positive experiences with this plugin.
Thank you for your speedy reply.
I would definitely earmark this as an untrustworthy plugin.
They have finally responded with a solution, but I have asked for a refund. This is a plugin that is way too intrusive. I think it is no good when a plugin leaves a footprint after it has been de-activated and deleted.I have had no response to get the refund, which makes it even more clear that this is not a trustworthy developer. If they do refund, I will let you know. I don’t mean to post things that are not untrue. But for now my experiences with this developer are sub-zero.

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] need help with “1 other meeting at this location”Hi gslinger,
I think you cannot get rid of it; it is baked into the tool.
Normally that makes sense with a physical meeting. But yeah, when you have multiple eletronic meetings with the same general geographical location they might be bundled.By the way:
this forum is not the place to ask questions about TSML. Please create a discussion item here:

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] In-person and Online Mtg displaying as OnlineThe plugin support is no longer happening through this location.
Please move over to:
https://github.com/code4recovery/12-step-meeting-list/issuesThat is where you will have a lot to read about this new version.
You will have to check all data on your meeting pages, to make sure they meet the conditions for proper display of the meeting tag.
Cheers,

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Restricting Google Autocomplete to one CountryHave you tried to use the other box, the one that holds what the plugin describes as ‘regions’? It might be more effective for your visitors.
Let me use my (Al-Anon) website as an example.
al-anon.alateen.on.caIn Canada meetings are organised in Districts.
When I upload new meetings, I include the district number. The district goes into the District Datasource, which is a default part of the meeting plugin. You can find it in the meetings menu, in the left black WordPress bar in the backend.
There is a second datasource, that is created automatically when importing, that is called ‘regions’. In my experiences what you find there are cities/towns of meeting locations. The result of having those databases filled, is visible in the ‘regions’ box in the front end meeting list. You can toggle between ‘region’ and ‘districts’.
I don’t know how you organised your details, but have a look in both of those datasources. If you do not have Districts, you might be able to ‘simulate’ districts by entering Australia’s provinces in it instead.
When I perform a search by the ‘region’ box, I see that it finds ‘Country Vic’, ‘Melbourne’ and ‘MelbourneWerribee’. Within those groups it then can show ‘regions’: the actual cities the meetings are in.
It looks to me that this indicates you need a clean up of the ‘Districts’ and ‘Regions’ datasources.
Both are initially auto-filled but you may have to modify them so your data makes more sense when performing a search.
I don’t think you would need ‘Australia’ as a parameter as that will probably equal everything in your list of meetings. But showing the Districts=provinces (states?) might be very helpful.
As for the auto complete: you don’t have to choose from the auto complete. It is true that the box is kind of small, but when I look at my own page, it shows a drop down of choices that I can ignore. I can just enter the name of a town. Or something I know to be part of the group name/meeting name.
And just as a by the way: the development team of the plug-in has moved to another forum page. That is where you can go for tech support, bug reports and new feature requests. It is on Github. You can find it here:
https://github.com/code4recovery/12-step-meeting-list/wiki
I hope this helps!

In reply to: [12 Step Meeting List] Restricting Google Autocomplete to one CountryI seem to be unable to access that page; get an access denied.
Is this question for your own website? Do you have meetings for more than one country?I am in Canada, in Ontario South. I sometimes want to show sub-sets of our meetings by having visitors click a button.
Here is what I do:
I perform a search for the relevant set, then copy the URL of the result and attach that URL to a button on the website. In your case, I guess you could offer a button or hyperlink to all meetings in Australia in that way.
