The problem appears to be entirely javascript related; I noticed that in IE7 I’d get the same error if I had the amazon auto-linking javascript in too many entries on one page. My temporary solution was, of course, to no longer use the auto-linker.

Any resolution to this problem beyond not using javascript would be appreciated.

Yeah, slimstat is really nice, but it contains less information and is less well integrated than whatever it is they’re using at wordpress.com
