In reply to: Multisite Didn’t Create a Site?I’ll have to give this a look over later. Been ill for the past couple of days while also having other issues with my host, so I want to get that ironed out before looking in depth at this again. I followed a guide at Kintha (sp?) on how to set one up, so perhaps their walkthrough was deficient.

In reply to: Multisite Didn’t Create a Site?Went to the Network Admin section, clicked Sites>Add New, filled in the info and hit “Add Site.” It’s listed in the All Sites list, but doesn’t work when I try to access it.

In reply to: Multiesite IssueThanks for moving to a place where I was already not getting a response.

In reply to: Unable to Change User RolesI was trying to set up another admin as a network admin, but it appears we’re already “super admins,” so I guess that’s why I didn’t see it as an option.

In reply to: Issue with ImagesBecause I would have to pay for someone to do it. I’ve tried figuring it out on my own, but it didn’t make any sense to me.
And, George, your first post was to tell me what the problem might be and you were the one who said it would be better to get at the root cause rather than using a plugin and I agreed. Unless I’ve missed it, I still don’t know how to fix it.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Issue with ImagesI just need to know how to fix it. Whether that’s changing my WordPress configuration to accept using https for images or to remove the SSL certificate itself. And since I don’t know how to do either, I’m back at square one.
The easiest would be just to find out how to fix it on the WordPress side since obviously Cloudflare didn’t care whether I wanted one or not (I haven’t been in contact/made any changes with Cloudflare in months and this issue only started happening in the last week).Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Issue with ImagesI knew I was using Cloudflare, but I’ve not configured anything to use HTTPS. All of my settings reference http, and if I recall correctly (from doing it on another site I used), changing it in the settings would screw things up if it weren’t set up for that. Could my host have done something without me knowing? They just updated a bunch of PHP installations.

In reply to: Issue with ImagesI don’t have a security certificate, so I shouldn’t be using https at all…and I don’t remember ever setting it up for that.

In reply to: Issue with ImagesI don’t know what that means. I’ve never set any values like that.

In reply to: Unable to Update WordPress/PluginsI went searching on the internet again to see if I could find a resolution and found something over on stack exchange. Apparently, someone added the command:
define('DISALLOW_FILE_MODS',true);
to my wp-config file. I changed it to false and I can now update everything. Wanted to post that here in case it helped someone else.

In reply to: wp_posts Table Stuck In UseThanks. I’m trying the optimize thing, but this is what it says on my cPanel:
MySQL? Disk Usage
2.4 GB / 11.18 GB (21.46%)So, I seem to have a lot of MySQL disk usage. Are you talking about something else? Where would I see how much they give?

In reply to: Remove a Lot of Spam UsersI already use Akismet and I don’t have any pending spam comments. I just have thousands of bot accounts that have registered and are sitting there taking up space and I want to get rid of them.

In reply to: Unable to Update WordPress/PluginsI have to upload them manually. Is there a way to replace the wp_options table or some other way to reset it without losing all of my data? I’ve tried replacing the permissions in the table, but that didn’t change anything.
As to plugins, I specifically disabled them all and tested without success, so I know that’s not the problem.
The only thing it could be with a permissions problem would be in the wp_content folder since I replaced all of the other files outside of that in my manual update to the latest edition date. So, basically, the only things that didn’t change were the wp_content folder and the entire SQL database.

In reply to: Unable to Update WordPress/PluginsAlso of note, I have other installation of wordpress on the same server and other servers and those appear to be working just fine.

In reply to: No Auto-Update OptionI worked with my host and we got the login issues fixed, and I manually uploaded everything for the new edition, so I don’t think I’ll know until the next update if I have the ability to update again.
