Well you can do it manually by adding some center tags around your logo area, In header.php file

in your wordpress back end,
Click All Pages, and you will find a list of the pages on your site…
Click “Quick Edit” option and uncheck the comments option….

You can access wp-config file through your FTP Client… or you may also login through Cpanel.
wp-config.php will be on the rood directory of your site where you will find the three folders, wp-content, wp-includes, wp-admin

Decrease the top: 40px; may be try 25px

Do it through FTP….
Download the older version as a backup, and then try uploading the new version through FTP Client!

If there is any file comments.php in your theme folder then look in to that, otherwise you will find a file with the same name in your WordPress main folder !

Or you may try another plugin All in one SEO Pack

That Plugin might have an option for entering Keyword and description through the backend.
And Yes of course it is necessary to tell the Search Engine Spiders about the type of content your site contains….

Re set your Permalinks….
First set it to default… and then set it back to what it is now..
