I have tried pointing the database tables to a new location but still no luck.

How do I do that? I have uploaded the whole wordpress folder onto my server again and again yet it says I have already installed it. How do I point it to the new database?

So I should call godaddy?

Okay. I just created a new MySQL server and will try with that one.

i have now tried putting my database name etc into the file itself and it still is not working. I have tried naming the files wp-config.php and wp-config-sample.php and no luck
