I don’t have good news. Hosting company seem to think the SSL is up and running, and the homepage still isn’t working.

Would appreciate if you had any more thoughts on this one, if not, I understand!

I will give them a call now ?? its possible the SSL hasn’t updated its supposed to take 24-48 hours.

Ill give hosting provider a call and see what ideas they have!

I do have both of those options. I have Autoptimize which has a clear cache function (and should do it automatically I believe) and also in the admin bar under “Performance” I can purge cache.

It used to display the 404 message but now safari is just saying cannot open page.

Just gave it a few minutes but just checked, still not working.

    Hi James and Tim,

Our SSL cert expired – it should be back up and running by now since I reactivated it. Ive also disabled the 404 plug in.

James the homepage was in draft! Not sure ?? how I did that since its been up and running for a number of years lol but thanks. And the static page setting now says “home” so thats all fixed.

Its still not returning a result when I view through WP Admin or just log out and search the URL. Maybe just give it a few mins??

Thanks so much for your help, Im in panic mode.

    Hi James,

its currently set to A static page (select below) – but then of the two options (home page & posts page) nothing appears to be selected.

The option of the homepage doesn’t seem to be there – just the other pages (about us, gallery, contact us etc).

Should I change one of these settings?
