In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Reviews are not updatedThank you Lidia. I downloaded new reviews after 10 days since the last update and this time it worked. Hopefully this has been resolved.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Reviews are not updatedHi Lidia. I see that you are pasting this comment to every thread on here that mentions this issue. We updated to the latest version when it came out, re-connected our profile and it still didn’t download latest reviews (number is correct but reviews are not being downloaded since 10 February). Left it for few days, waiting to be able to manually download again in 10 days. Just saw your comment now so I’ve done the same, hoping that you’ve actually resolved the issue. Nope, still the same as before. Cleared the cache etc. So here we are a month later and still no solution.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Reviews are not updatedHi, I manually reset the widget, disconnected our Google profile and connected it back again. Number of reviews is now displayed correctly, however, it didn’t download the latest reviews – latest displayed review is from two weeks ago, even though we’ve had new reviews added since then.

In reply to: [Widgets for Google Reviews] Reviews are not updatedHi, as many others have already said, your plugin is not updating Google reviews correctly after pressing ‘Download new reviews’ button. This issue started for last time (10 days ago) and has still not been resolved after this 10 day cycle when we attempted to download new reviews yesterday. All worked fine before so something is broken on your end, especially seeing that many others have the exact same issue.
Thanks.
After deleting the wp-optimize folder in ‘plugin’ folder of WordPress manually, are there any other files that we should delete manually to get rid of all the remnants of this plugin?
I deleted that folder so it is not showing in the list of plugins in WP Admin. That’s why I am wondering where else there might be residual files.

Same thing here. WP Optimize plugin was causing CPU overload on our hosting and 503 Service Unavailable message on our website since this morning. I renamed wp-content/plugins folder which disables all WordPress plugins and website came back so I knew it will be one of the plugins. Then I renamed it back and started renaming individual plugin folders. When I renamed wp-optimize folder, website came back so this is definitely the culprit.
