In reply to: [Quick Event Manager] Download Event Button does not work in SafariSent you the 404 from Chrome … Concerning SSL, yes sad thing. Our cheap provider does not offer it for this contract … we would need to upgrade … twice the price now … I will discuss … but takes time. We did not need it as we have no submits at all … just a more or less stupid contact form …

In reply to: [Quick Event Manager] Download Event Button does not work in SafariSorry. No. We are a environmental NGO here in Germany. Constantly in lack of money. So decision was not to buy SSL. ?? …
Concerning other browsers: Yes! I can confirm Chrome is working with the Link in the button. However the link in the pop up from the calendar widget still ends up in 404 … so seems to be 2 different issues …

In reply to: [Quick Event Manager] Download Event Button does not work in SafariNope. No IOS here … MacOS … but that option is only relevant coming out of the Mail App … but I am natively in the browser. The problem seems to be that the output is not properly marked as a download file … so browser thinks this is something to display … not to download?

In reply to: [Quick Event Manager] Download Event Button does not work in SafariMonterey 12.3.1 … Safari 15.4 … the latest.
I am using the option “Add download button to event” in section “Download to calendar” in tab Display of the settings menu. If I hit this button the text pasted above appears on the screen.
Even worse: When I click on the generated link appearing when I click on the events overview widget I have embedded on my site I am getting this:
ERROR 404, Page not found …It’s generating this link:
https://bund-seligenstadt.de/event/fruehblueherrundgang-nsg-langhorst/’http:/bund-seligenstadt.de/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=qem_download_ics&id=277’Since my site is public anyway here’s the link:

The problem is with the event on April 10th but literally with every event … I am just pushing in the new ones for this year.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Google Doc Embedder] Mobile Issue with specific PDFHi Dan,
I do not think so. As said, there are many PDFs used with GDE in the same WordPress layout that are running perfectly without the problem described above. The problem ONLY occurs with this specific (and rather wide) PDF taken from a newspaper article.
Please let me know if you have any influence on this within the plugin or if this is maybe a Google issue …
Concerning CSS/HTML there is nothing we can do as the wordpress template runs perfectly for all the other pages and the other embedded PDFs.
