I have exactly the same problem, exept from that it occured yeaterday. I posted successfully on the day before yesterday, and when I tried yesterday (and today) the content of the post just disappears. But somewhat like Kimberly I got a new PC yesterday. I don\t think that is the probelm however, as I previously I have posted from different PCs without problem.

I would really appreciate some help on this.

I’ve found out. It was in the index file in the theme folder. Thanks to both of you for helping me.

Iridax, I have read the instructions you direct me to. Sorry for being so daft, but is it the post-template.php file I have to edit? Or is it in some other file? I can’t find the exact location of where I have to replace the “Read the ret of this entry >>” with my own text.

Sorry for being som daft, but should I put this on top of my posts where I want the pictures to be?

Well, the content of the sidebar has now turned ut at the bottom of the page, not on top right below the header????

Is there any magic I can do to move it up?

So sorry, but it did not work. The side bar is however visble at other pages/posts.

Thanks, this is most helpful, but I’m so embarrassed, because when I removed the last bit in the index, the whole right hand side bar disappeard on the front page. I must have removed too much. this is the last part of my index file now

OK, I found out, but now for some reason in the top right corner of my fronpage shows the title and an excerpt of the lates posts. I dont want it to be there – how can I remove it?

Sorry for being so ignorant, but in which fils should I copy this? Index file, css?

I’ve managed the problem with page menu. So my main worry now is how do I set up the “home” page of my blog, and how do I make the header a link to that home page?

thanks, for the help. Now I’ve managed to make the default text in the header invisible – so far so good, but the header/logo image is still not click’able. and my page menu, including a home page does not appear on the page. Why is that?
